PALTROW CALLED ON ADDICTION ADVICE FROM DOWNEY, JR.

GWYNETH PALTROW turned to her IRON MAN co-star ROBERT DOWNEY, JR. for addiction tips as she prepared to play an alcoholic in new movie COUNTRY STRONG.
The clean-cut Oscar winner admits she struggled with the idea of playing a washed-up singer in the new film and needed help from someone who had battled personal demons and substance abuse.
She tells The Hollywood Reporter, "I actually emailed Robert Downey, Jr., who's been sober for a long time.
"I was like, 'Explain to me addiction'. He wrote me the most amazing email, and it really helped me understand it." (KL/HR/KD) *WENN
